This Privacy Policy explains how Fastfood Tracker ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and safeguards information when you use our mobile application and related services (collectively, the "App").
1. Overview & Guest Mode
Fastfood Tracker is designed to deliver immediate utility without unnecessary barriers. You can begin logging fast-food visits, rating meals, and viewing the franchise catalog immediately using anonymous cloud authentication without entering personal credentials. In this mode, your tracking data is securely associated with an anonymous identifier.
2. Information We Collect
- Account & Profile Information: When you link or secure an account (such as upon reaching exploration milestones or upgrading to Pro), we collect your email address, age, and country/region to establish your profile and enable cloud data synchronization across devices.
- User Content & Logs: Fast-food visit records, ratings, meal notes, dishes ordered, timestamps, spend amounts (optional), and custom tierlist rankings submitted within the App.
- Photos (Optional): If you choose to attach food or storefront photos to your check-ins, the App accesses only the specific photo selected from your device library or camera. We do not access, scan, or store media you have not explicitly chosen.
- Purchase & Billing Information: Purchases of Fastfood Tracker Pro are processed securely via Google Play In-App Billing and validated by RevenueCat. We never access, store, or process your credit card numbers or financial credentials.
3. Device Permissions
- Camera & Photos/Storage: Used strictly to capture or attach food photos to your check-ins when selected.
- Internet Access: Used to authenticate sessions, synchronize your logs with our cloud database (Supabase), validate Pro purchases via RevenueCat, and fetch franchise catalog updates.
4. Data Storage & Security
All network communications between the App and backend services are encrypted in transit using industry-standard TLS/HTTPS protocols. Our cloud database utilizes PostgreSQL Row Level Security (RLS) to ensure that your records remain isolated and accessible only by your authenticated account.
5. Information Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third-party advertising networks or data brokers. Data is shared exclusively with infrastructure and service providers strictly required to operate the App:
- Supabase: Cloud database, authentication, and backend infrastructure.
- RevenueCat: In-app purchase verification, receipt validation, and entitlement management.
- Google Play Billing: Payment processing for digital purchases.
6. Account & Data Deletion (Google Play Compliance)
In accordance with Google Play developer policies, users retain the right to request deletion of their account and all associated personal data:
- In-App Deletion: You can delete individual check-ins, ratings, or custom tierlists directly from the App at any time, or permanently delete your entire account via Profile → Settings → Delete Account.
- Dedicated Deletion Page: Full web instructions and self-service guidelines can be accessed directly at our Account Deletion Page.
- Email Request: To request account and data deletion via email, send a message to support@fastfoodtracker.app with the subject line "Account Deletion Request".
- Processing & Timeline: Account and data deletion requests are verified and permanently wiped from our cloud database within 48 to 72 hours. Upon deletion, all visit stamps, logs, metrics, and profile attributes are permanently purged and cannot be recovered.
7. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately to have it purged.
8. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Any revisions will be published directly on this page with an updated effective date.
